Commanders Corner:

October is here!! Our Fall Festival is quickly approaching!! Don’t be scared! Come on out and join us for some fun, food, treats, maybe some tricks.  The event is open to the public, all ages!  We will have some costume contests and games and “vendors” to visit to get information or just to trick-or-treat them!

Saturday October 26, 2019 from 4-6pm at the Center For Non-Profits in Rogers, AR.  Downstairs in the AT&T Room and Auditorium!!

October is the beginning of Fall, but don’t let safety Fall by the wayside.  Keep attentive, watch for children especially around Halloween!! The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer.  Temperatures are getting cooler!  Are you prepared?  Last month was an Emergency Preparedness Fair and we had a table there with information on things we recommend for an Emergency Kit.

November is coming up soon, and so too will our Veterans Day Events.  We will hold those on Saturday November 9th starting at 9am in the Centerton City Hall Community Room!  Our first Veterans Stand-Down. What is a Stand-Down?  Basically we stand-down from our normal busy everyday lives and schedules and take the time to provide and take care of our Veterans, Service members and their families.  We will have clothing giveaway, non-perishable food giveaway, looking into having free health and wellness checks, as well as representatives from Benton County Veteran Services and SNAP programs.

This months raffle item!!!!
